• He performed his first drawings in “Dr. Baltasar Izaguirre Rojo kindergarden” in 1951.

• In 1962 he started at the plastic arts workshop of the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (U.A.S.), under the direction of the teacher “Erasto Cortéz Juárez”.

• In 1976 he designed the cover of the textbook “Prótesis Fija” of Dr. Carlos Ripol.

• In 1991 he exposed collectively in the galleries, “La Ventana”, and in “Las Muestras del Sol”, and individually in the gallerie “Vértice”.

• That year (1991) he illustrates supplements for DIFOCUR and for the U.A.S.

• In addition in 1991 he also exposed collectively in several cities of the state of Sinaloa.

• Also in 1991 he obtained the second place on painting over paper, and honorary mention on painting over cloth, in the Tercera Bienal del Noroeste.

• In 1992 he had an individual exhibition named “Caminando” in the Cultural Center “Genaro Estrada” of DIFOCUR. Also in this year he participated in many others diverse collective exhibitions in cities of the northwest. Also in 1992 he made diverse sculptures. In addition he exposes individually “Texturas Ópticas” in the Mazatlán Museum (in Sinaloa).

• Intense works in esculpture, painting and restoration of images and religious sculptures in the community of San Javier (municipality of San Ignacio, Sinaloa) in 1995.

• In 1995 he participated in the first public auction of the artists of Sinaloa to benefit children with cancer.

• At the moment he is promoting the creation of a workshop of popular ceramics between the residents of this same town.

• He participated in the third public auction of Sinaloenses and foreign artists, to benefit the children with cancer, in November of 1997.

• He received Honorary Mention in the XVIII Salón de la Plástica Sinaloense Bienal, in the gallery of art “Frida Kahlo” in June of 1998. Also in October of that year, he participated in the public auction of Sinaloenses and foreign artists, to benefit children with cancer.

• In June 2000, he was selected as a participant of the XIX salón de la plástica sinaloense bienal 2000, made in the gallery of art “Frida Kahlo”.

• In March 2002, he participated in the sample of the V Premio Estatal de Pintura “Antonio López Sáenz”, in Mazatlán, Sinaloa.

• He participated as a donor in the public auction of professional artists 2000, benefitting the program of support to children with cancer, made in the Museum of Art of Sinaloa, in October of 2000.

• In November 2000 he participated in the III Salón de la Vida y la Muerte, celebrated in the gallery of art “Joven en la sala de arte” of the cultural center “Genaro Estrada”.

• Individual exhibition “Sendero” in the Colegio Sinaloa, in November 2002.

• In August 2003, he had another individual exhibition of Senderos II (painting and jewelry) room of contemporary art of the cultural center “Genaro Estrada”, in DIFOCUR.

• Collective exhibition of artists of Sinaloa in honor to “San Miguel” , a patron saint of the city of Culiacán, in the coffe restaurant “Paloma” in September 2003.

• In June 2004 Monge presented the collective exhibition in the Theo Arte Estudio. In addition he make a donation of Obra Brasileira for Expo-Venta in Interceramic benefitting the Association Pro People with Cerebral Paralysis (also known as APAC).
